Fragrance Impression & Memory

Powdery, warm, and floral. The scent takes you back in an instant. You're small again, peeking from behind the door as your mother leans toward the mirror, her hands skillfully teasing her hair into a soft, cloud-like halo. She spots you and invites you to help complete her ritual with a sweep of red lipstick. The delicate trace of face powder brushes your skin as she kisses your cheek to say thank you.

HOW IT WEARS

One of the first fragrances to launch in the 1930s, Vermeil is an elegant floral blend that invites you to revisit memories of dressing tables in boudoirs, where the scent of face powder, lipstick, perfume and blush swirls in the air.

First and foremost, Vermeil starts with a dry iris and violet accord - joined by a dewy rose, a symbol of love in bloom. In the base creamy sandalwood lends depth, counterpointed with a whisper of a tart cherry note.

We love the nostalgic memories conjured when spritzing Vermeil, yet manages to feel contemporary for today’s wearer.
