GATHER’s debut collection explores the notion of home - not as a fixed address, but as a shifting landscape of memory and feeling. Having grown up in London, later moving to the coast and now residing in the countryside, Michael draws upon the emotional textures of each environment: their temperatures, colours, sounds and, above all, their fragrance.

“Fragrance has always been a golden thread through my life,” says our founder, “But it’s only in the past decade that I’ve truly understood how deeply it shapes and forms my memories. Of course, there are the milestone moments; anniversaries, celebrations - but it’s often the quieter scenes that linger most vividly. The candle burning at a friend’s dinner table. The smell of new books opened for the first time. When you pause to notice the scent of an environment, each moment feels enriched, almost preserved.”
