Robert Bienaimé, a renowned perfumer, founded his brand,  Bienaimé in 1935, marked by his talent that was nurtured under the guidance of Paul Parquet.

His innovative fragrances, like Quelques Fleurs by Houbigant, distinguished him as a leading nose in the industry.

After his passing in 1960, the brand lay dormant until Cécilia Mergui revived it in 2021. Inspired by Art Deco aesthetics, Mergui aimed to blend sustainability with timeless beauty, echoing the era when beauty products were refillable and artistic.
